Lets make a cool and creative modern logo using photoshop features and tricks.

Here I have used button styles and custom shape.

1. First of all to open a new Document. Go to Menu

select File > new and then a new document will appear.

In the new Document type the name of the document width = 400 pixel

, height = 400 pixel and resolution = 96 pixel/inch.

2. Now create a new Layer1 to create a new layer click

on the icon that is shown with the red circle in the Layer

window or press Shift+Ctrl+N.

3. Now select Shape Tool and then select a new shape which is shown with the red circle.

4. Now here click on the icon which shown with the red circle to select the shape Layer.

5. Here first click on the small red circle with no1 and then click on the circle with no2 to select Web Style.

6 . Click where the red circle is for styles.

7. Now here on the Blank Document create

a new shape with the help of mouse and then

all the Effect that you selected in the step 7

will appear on the shape as you can see in the Image below.

8. Now again from the Shape Tool select a new Ellipse shape and the select Glass Buttons in the shape style and select the shape which is shown with the red circle.

9. Now here first create a new Layer then with the help of Mouse create a new Ellipse as shown below.

10. Now Double click on the newly created shape select Stroke size=4 and then fill Black color.

11. Now with the help of Text Tool type words like I wrote XEO if you want to you can change the size of the font with the Text Font size or if you want to change the color of your text Layer then first Double click on the Layer then fill the color with the Gradient Tool.
