Simple and Clean Menu Bar



In this tutorial we are going to make a this simple and clean menu bar.

You will make a menu bar like this:





Start out by creating a blank document.

Use [ Rectangle Tool (U) ] to draw a rectangle as shown.

Right click on its layer and click on [ Resterize Layer ].




Make its Style
Double click the layer or go to Layers->Blending options and apply settings as shown.







Download this Pattern    load it in photoshop



Result :





Make its tape:

Method #1:
Select the [ Polygonal lasso tool (L) ]
Make a selection as shown.



Press Ctrl + N to create a new layer.

Set color to #000000 and fill it.



Make its Style
Double click the layer or go to Layers->Blending options and apply settings as shown.



Result :


Method #2:
Make its tape using brushes as shown.
Make a new layer.



Hold down Shift key and click on black point, then click on second point to make the tape shape.

Here is your result:

Now use the style used in method #1 by copying its style to this layer.
