1) Firstly we get the X shape, to do this we carefully use the 'Polygon Lasso' - try and get it closest to the X below as possible and fill the outline using green (#45862C).



2) Now using whatever method suits you.. cut the X shape into 4 parts - more like mine the better the outcome (I cut the logo using the 'Lasso Tool').



3) Now you got 4 shapes.. set your pallets background to:#45862C and foreground:BBDC09; get the outline of 1 of you 4 shapes, then using the 'Gradient Tool' fill the shape.. you should get something like: (I put the shapes back together to show how it would look)



4) Complete step 3 for the rest of your shapes, then places the shapes back together:



5) Now go back to the 'Polygon Lasso' and shape-cut around the X for sharpened edges.



6) Here's another where I've added a steel framework and grey airbrushed background.
