 In this tutorial I will learn you how to create a glossy logo.Using some nice effects,including the glass efect.

 

Start by creating a 400×150 pixelspicture.Then create a new layer.Go to Layer>New layer or simply press SHIFT+CTRL+N.Create a rectangle using the Rectangular Marquee Tool(M).So press M and create a rectangle.Fill it with this colour #262626.

Now create a new layer.Go to select>Modify>Contract and set the value to 3.

Then go to Select>Feather and set the value to 6.Now Fill this layer with this colour #676767.

You should obtain this.

Now create a new layer.SHIFT+CTRL+N.
Select the Gradient Tool.Then Select Foreground to transparent like in the picture.

Make sure the colour is from white to transparent.

 

Now drag the gradient like in the picture.

 

You should obtain this.

Now create a new layer.Using the Rectangle Marque tool and fill it with this colour #3d6fa0.
Make sure you deselect the old layer by pressing CTRL+D.

Now duplicate this layer.Go to Layer>Duplicate Layer.

Now press CTRL+T.TO transform this layer.And set these values.

Now Right Click the layer 4 copy and select blending options.Like in the picture.

 

 Select the Gradient overlay and set these values.

 

Now move the Layer4 like in the picture.Simply by draging it.

You should obtain this.

Now Right click the Layer 4 and select Blending options.
Select the Inner glow and set these settings.Then the Inner Shadow.

 

Now select a softs brush.Set the dimension to 150 px.Select the mode from Normal to Colour Dodge.Set this colour #3d6fa0.

 

Try painting like in the picture.Then try drawing again so you obtain this.

 

Now delete the layer 1 and 2.

Let’s create the glass effect.

Create a new layer.The using the Rectangle Marquee tool and fill it with black like in the picture.

 

Set the Fill opacity to 6%.

Right click the new layer,select the Blending options and let’s set the values.

Click the Drop Shadow anset the opacity to 0,Distance to 1 px and Size to 1 px.And set the quality like this.

 

Now add some Inner Shadow.And set these values.

Add also some Inner glow.Set these values.Also set this colour #00fff6.

Click on the bevel and emboss.Set these values.

 

Now copy the layer style by right clicking layer 5.And then ieght click layer 3 an select paste layer style.

Now create a new layer.SHIFT+CTRL+N.Select the Rectangle Marquee tool.And draw a rectanlge like this.

Now Draw a gradient tool,transparent like the one we used in the begining.And drag it like in the picture.

Now draw a text.like in the picture.

Now right click the text layer and select paste layer style.And there you have it.
