This detailed tutorial made for Photoshop will teach you how create watter effect. You will also learn how to use some special photoshop filters to make this effect, how to use Channel Mixer and more.

Step 1

Let's start with a new document
Size 350x 350 pixels.

Step 2

Press "D" key, to set the default colors (black and white).

Step 3

Choose Filter > Render > Clouds.



Step 4

Choose Filter > Blur > Radial Blur. Then, set the Amount to 9, for the Blur Method select Spin and for Quality choose Good. Then, click ok. See the pictur below.





Step 5

Choose Filter > Blur > Gaussian Blur. For Radius set 2 and click ok.

Step 6

Choose Filter> Sketch > Bas Relief. Then, set this settings:

1 Detail: 15
2.Smoothness:2



Then, click ok.

Now you have this:



Step 7

Choose Filter > Sketch > Chrome. For Detail choose 4, for Smoothness: 5 and click ok.
Now you get this:



Step 8

Choose Image > Adjustment > Channel Mixer. Then, choose the following options:

1.Red: -32
2.Green:210
3.Blue:-145





Step 9

Choose Image > Adjustment > Hue/Saturation. After that, choose the Following options:

1.Hue: 11
2.Saturation:27
3.Lightness:-9



Finally, you get this:
