I call this "App le Orange"
A gave the name App (appendix) to the fruit, and it's supposed to be an orange. Translating for italian "App le Orange" means "App the Orange", but the trick is that in the name you can spot both "apple" and "orange"...LOL

interesting, but sadly bad deep edging, try working with channels while making a selection with the magic wand tool, your reflection doesn't make any sense here also, cheers

The only other thing Ed that I would do a bit different (very good work by the way) is that the RED skin of the apple, needs to be a bit thicker, if you look at the apple you will notice that you can see it has thickness,...thats the only other thing besides the shadow..

about the subject thingy i think there should be Maybe!! different themes like you ali made alot of hifi (pro work) and some others don`t make things like that. then it could be nice with different themes or subject.
it might be a bit messy though... or maybe it`s just an bad excuse cos i have never made those :)

Ed, Check the comment on my hifi pic from Diana and you'll understand what this is all about............I'm up for that, it would sure make us try hard. Espen had an idea along those lines a couple of weeks ago, he even emailed the powers that be about it,dont know the outcome as hes been offline for the last 2 weeks. It would be good if there was some sort of members only score system, where people that are logged on could put up a score for the various posts(set up so you could only vote once per post), that would give people a bit of incentive to give it their best shot. I'm sure other people would be up for it as well. Dont know about me picking the subject though, I'm a bit of a new guy, maybe Ed or one of the guys that have been here longer, or you, your idea an all that. Need a message board on the site, just to see what the response is from the others.

Ed,I like it alot, but the shaddow needs to be adjusted if u dup the layer than flip vert. and lower opacity 45% u should get proper adj. just bring down copied layer halfwaydown see if that helps.
