Just got an email back from admin and he has offered to set up a forum so we can talk to eachother with out all this rigmorale

yepp, back when pslover had the old design not as it is today, it did have a message board, but myself, I didn't use it, there was no need to use it then, but now it really would be usefull to use it :Dlol

I didn't know that, but it seems that there is a better class of person using the site now-no offence to anyone thats been using the site for along time-its just that when you look at the older pages some of the comments were just down right insulting and very little encouragement or help either, thankfully there's not too much of that now. Hopefully they will re-instate the message board and we wont have to go through this type of thing when we want to talk to each other, and people are trying to talk to each other.

Allistair, did you know that PSLOVER site USED to have a message board? Yep, way back when.....then when they changed the format to the one you see today, they did away with the message boards and it seemed that not too many people used them....
I agree with the scoring system,...a good idea I think....
Kind of like what you have seen on "Hot-Or-Not" website, that kind of thing....and it would have to tag your IP address and only allow one vote per computer.

basicly, what I did is i sent an e-mail to the admin and explained the situaion, and what we actually want. I said that if he thinks it's not a bad idea and he somehow agrees, then to mail me , so I know and we can discuss a bit more about how it should work:P

I've asked admin if they could setup a site notice board so we dont have to go through this rigmorale every time we want to post a message for other members, they havn't got back to me yet, as soon as they do I'll stick up a post somewhere. Maybe even on the new notice board.haha

basicly, I don't actually know how it's best to do the scoring thingy, we should find out a way to contact the server admin...I'll think about it...and leave another post later...

amnn...I'd say I'm a young "brain" and even though I have been at pslover for some while, I can't really think of anything.....I think, for a start, we could all do the mini-iPod (Diana's idea, which I actually like), beacuse it's an easy shape easy design and in my opinion it would be best so people can learn something from the tutorials (the ones on iPod)....
Right now I can't really do much, because my LAPTOP is being fixed on some problems I had with it before and I don't really know when I'll be able to get back into working with Photoshop.
But this ofcourse isn't much of a problem, I'll still be looking forward to looking at your (whaever) designes. I'll try to catsh up as soon as possible...

I'm up for that, it would sure make us try hard. Espen had an idea along those lines a couple of weeks ago, he even emailed the powers that be about it,dont know the outcome as hes been offline for the last 2 weeks. It would be good if there was some sort of members only score system, where people that are logged on could put up a score for the various posts(set up so you could only vote once per post), that would give people a bit of incentive to give it their best shot. I'm sure other people would be up for it as well. Dont know about me picking the subject though, I'm a bit of a new guy, maybe Ed or one of the guys that have been here longer, or you, your idea an all that. Need a message board on the site, just to see what the response is from the others.

al, u sure getting the hang of it..maybe we should all get into some sort of challenge no contest just we all do a project say like an ipod or something give us a week or so and show our work..so maybe u can pick the item..just a suggestion!

JVC dont do a hifi that looks like that either.

it looks quite good, but the text used for the JVC name isn't the right one...
but althoug tht it looks good.
