If you have ever looked thru a feather towards the sun, you will know that you see a rainbow-like image, so maybe the blue is the irridescent image that is produced from sunlight flowing thru the feathers....oh heck, I don't know what I am talking about, looks nice Diana, agreed, this could make some good stationery!

the creation is good, but same comments, the blue shoul be removed i think...
One other thing is tht u have used the same feather, u could have just invert or flip the feather to give a random pattern... the border of the feathers r a bit to sharp...
but although tht, it's cool...
