I had the same feeling about the flower my self. I was going for the "nature will find a way" thing. Thanks for the comments.

Nice use of light and shadow, they are in the right places...I like the parched earth too, good work there,...but something just doesn't feel right about the flower, hmm....dunno exactly WHAT is it, but it doesn't feel real like the rest of the image.
