One thing that bothers me about it is the blood. It's not that I find it disturbing because of the gore, in fact, quite the opposite. For me, the blood is superfluous, and detracts from what could be an otherwise psychologically traumatic image. I'd be more inclined to make the viewer dwell in the agony the figure must be feeling. Just a suggestion. Discuss, debate, decide :o)
