not to rain on anyones parade here.....
But I think the 'purpose' of art, is to be entertaining to someone...not everyone sees the same things as art, and not everyone sees the same thing IN art...besides, does art have to have a purpose?...I digress....
with that being said, this image isn't bad, as it was drawn with a mouse? (or a tablet) there are shading and gradients used here and with the image that was in thier (indi) head, well to put it all down in the computer for some, requires more skill than others...and poon, I had to laugh at your comment (short bus) although it looks as though the kid in the image was from the short-bus, not the other way around...anyway, we all have to find our own 'medium' of art, it is not always what everyone likes or appreciates, just keep at it and someday, you will find your niche`

Looks like a kid from the SHORT BUS got his hands on the computer and began to draw or at least a person with zero drawing talent. Not impressed or humored by any of these zombie pics.

the purpose of it is that i do these pictures is for fun and just kind like what keen said.

I think the purpose of it is to be amuzing. It is both funny and scary in different ways.
