On the other one I used more grunge brushes, and I found a water-stain brush pack on Adobe's site that added nicely to the aged look, for some reason I didnt go back and change this background, plus on the other one you get the old treasure map feel with the path, the island and the x, and this one its just the compas rose and the Skull, not much else. I like this one, but I like the other one better- mostly because of those touches. And Chrome, thanks for the opinions, keep em coming, you cant get better if you dont accept other critiques!
I like the text better on the other one, and also the other one, has a more 'old' parchment look to it than this one...maybe it's the background images I dunno...I think the 'style' of the other one looks better....(you asked for opinions right?!) this one has too 'new' of a feel to it to me...I mean, it's not bad by any means, just looks newer, thats all..
