as pretty as fractal stuff is... I don't see much practicalness about them.

otherwise known as "the Golden Ratio" yes, I am familiar with that, in fact it is funny that you mention that, there are so many things in nature that occur naturally according to the divine proportion that it isn't funny,...and yes, part of the algorythm used in creating this fractal, was a number close to the "Divine Proportion" number (rounded to make things look a bit better) otherwise it would have oscillated slower and been more 'muddy' IMO...

I think most people are familiar with the devine proportion - they just dont realise it.haha

Interesting. It seems to observe the law of the divine proportion (0.618..) which is interesting. Kind of like a shell. Each swirl has a proportion of 1:1.618 to the other...are you familiar with this law/proportion?
