...uhmmm...i don't think the BG is a photo, I have a lot of "sky's I have done and sometimes just drop them in, I think this is one of them!!!!!

...yeah Ryan is pretty amazing, I don't really know of any sites other than the type you mentioned that give you a good solid way of taking control of Painter...BUT...at his website, Ryan Church has a couple DVD's for sale that really teach you the way to do it. If you go there...there are a few quick sample vids to give you the feel of the DVD's...they are excellent and well worth the money!

And, altough a great artist he is not really a "matte" painter, conceptual is more his thing and I think he is about one of the best around!

Yeah ...he may ne a freakin alien too...he;s that good!
