I know what you mean about the light source, and when I first did the building I had that side in a fair bit of shadow but it lacked deffinition so I decided to imply a second light source that was behind the viewer. Not really, I just brightened it up so it could be seen a bit better.haha. Thanks for you comments, they are locked in my head.
...damn...just lost my comment...well here goes again...Heyyyyy Alistair, now this is what I'm talkin about! Great stuff... now if I may...ALWAYS remember your PRIMARY light source with these things, your is from the back, the sunset, but you have introduced a front light source to the front of the building, and unless there is a car on the bridge with high beems on you have no idea where all that light hitting the building is coming from! ...if I may...knock back the brightness of the front and don't get hung up on too much detail, although you have done a great job on the bricks and windows you may have put in too much detail! Take a look at some of Ryan's work, sometimes with just a few little lines and ticks of highlight he gives the IMPRESSION of a whole brick wall, just a thought...anyways, great work, well done
