ChromeV: It's cool that you see the good in the situation or at least question authenticity. In my opinion, this is fully copied. If you save both of the images, and overlay it, even the placement of the "3" to the tee is pixel-per-pixel the same. Not a different font, not a different size, not a different color, not a different placement. Exactly identical. Possible? Yes. Probable? Not in the slightest. This is a classic example of talentless plagiarism.

I have this plug-in, it's freakin' awesome. You can get a demo version, but it places a purple grid on your image (booooooooo!!) So I bought it, as a Xmas present to, erm, me :o)

The site does offer the actions for you to download, but to be honest, the plug-in has that many variables and is so much fun that you wouldn't want to use them. It takes a bit of getting used to, but fire is something that I regularly tried to recreate through tuts, and this has put an end to me needing them.

now *I* have not followed the tutorial, but is there ANY chance that if one started with the same size image, and applied all the filters/plug-ins that one of US could come up with the exact image that Rose did? I mean, it depends on the algorithm used by the filter/plug-in and if it uses Random numbers to create the fire etc...I guess what I am trying to say here, is....is there a possibility of coming up with the same thing, using the tutorial?
(Of course *I* would have made MY image a bit larger, and also probably used different number or text instead of a #3, but that is just ME....)
thanks for the tutorial link Angelic!

Rose, I wouldn't show ur proverbial face on this site after this one. that's really a disgrace. Are people really that DUMB that they don't think that out of all the PSLover members at least ONE person is going to see what they did?

Jeesh! POOPY

OH NO!!! in this case the truth could get you locked up!

Not even a followed tutorial. Go to the tut, right click on the image and save image as. You just got yourself an exact copy of the gif.

I hate plagiarism!!!

When people use a tutorial, they should give props to the tutorial. I hate seeing people follow 100% with a tutorial and then claim it as their own work. that's what this appears to be a case of.

:(
