A render is a render is a render is a render. I guess the point of the thread was that something that is just a render isn't worth showing off. So do something unique and different... or attempt to better yourself in a productive way.

Clove, I don't see what you are getting at.. maybe another paragraph or two will do the trick.

I've just read Keen's forum entry, and just wish to throw a tiny spanner in the works regarding the use of what is often mistakenly referred to as 'renders'. I would like to just remind the advocates of using Photoshop for image origination, that the prime purpose of Photoshop is to serve as a high end image EDITOR - this is Adobe's advertising description extracted from www.adobe.com/products/photoshop/family.html:
"Adobe Photoshop CS2... Get the digital image editing control you crave. Experience the unrivaled power of the professional digital image editing standard".
All I ask is that you bear this in mind before slamming people who use it for just that purpose.
