Aye.. the final outcome is what es important. but the fact that a photo is a part of it is too often left out in the description and its as if the artist is trying to make us swallow something. Like if a little kid brings a beautiful painting to his mother and leaves out the fact that dad helped.. A LOT.
... regardless of "what" it is the final outcome is very good, well done I say. The process Alan seems to be doing is just a form of a "matte painting", guys like Dusso do it professionally and sometimes their "paintings' are 50 to 60% photo's,
sometimes even more! I have done "mattes" too, although I do prefer to paint from "scratch" like Sparth or Ryan Church. Anyhow....well done again Alan

1: It was a real painting i made.
2: It was a photo at first, That took into ArtRage and painted it.
Stroke-by-stroke
3: I then took it into Adobe Photoshop 5.0 and Overlayed it into the
original photo.
I appreciate the comment, But i wanted you to know that it is a real painting.
