hi -Once I extract an image, how do put in onto a new plain white background lets say, also how do I resize image or new document?? Thank You

for resizing ur documents

right click on ur canvas and choose IMAGE SIZE
provide the height and width u want
his ok

hiiii this is deepak

to put ur image into a plain white background u need to hv a
another new document by pressing CTRL N adjust size in pixles according to ur need
in the background content choose white, hit ok

and import ur image that u want to place onto white background
be sure that ur move tool is selected
place the mouse pointer to ur image and hold by clicking it
just drag it to ur white background

Well, after you extract an image. Everything around it is transparent. So you can create a new layer under it and fill the new layer with white.
